Law Enforcement Guidelines

These guidelines explain how law enforcement officials may request information from CupidMsg, Inc. (“CupidMsg”) and how we respond to legal process. We are committed to user safety and to cooperating with legitimate law enforcement investigations while protecting the privacy and rights of our users in accordance with applicable law, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Service.

These guidelines are for informational purposes only and do not create any enforceable rights or obligations. They may be updated at any time.

1. How to Submit a Request

Law enforcement requests must be made in writing, on official letterhead, signed by the requesting official, and sent from an official government email address or agency address to:

To help us respond quickly and accurately, please include:

• The specific CupidMsg account identifier(s) — registered email address, username, or user ID.
• The specific data or records requested and the relevant date/time range (in UTC where possible).
• A valid legal basis for the request and a return email/contact for the requesting official.
• Any applicable deadlines and the investigating agency and case/reference number.

We will take reasonable steps to verify the authenticity of every request before responding, and we may reject requests that are overly broad, vague, or legally insufficient.

2. Legal Process Requirements

CupidMsg discloses account records only in accordance with applicable law, including the U.S. Stored Communications Act (18 U.S.C. § 2701 et seq.) where applicable, and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. Generally:

• Basic subscriber information (such as registered name, email, account creation date, and recent login/IP records) may require a valid subpoena.
• Non-content transactional records may require a court order.
• Content of communications (such as private messages) requires a valid search warrant issued upon a showing of probable cause by a court of competent jurisdiction, except in emergencies as described below.

Requests from outside the United States should be submitted through a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) or letter rogatory, unless an applicable law provides another lawful basis.

3. Emergency Disclosure Requests

In situations involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury to any person, law enforcement may submit an Emergency Disclosure Request. Email support@cupidmsg.comwith the subject line “EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST” and include:

• A description of the emergency and the nature of the threat.
• The identity of the person in danger, if known.
• The specific information needed to prevent the harm and why it is needed urgently.
• The requesting official's name, agency, and contact details.

We may voluntarily disclose information to law enforcement when we believe in good faith that an emergency involving imminent danger requires such disclosure without delay.

4. Preservation Requests

Upon receipt of a valid preservation request, we will take reasonable steps to preserve available account records for 90 days pending service of valid legal process, and will extend the preservation for one additional 90-day period upon a renewed request. Preservation does not require or result in disclosure of any records absent valid legal process.

5. Information We May Have

The information available varies by account and is retained only as described in our Privacy Policy. Depending on the account, records may include registration details (name, email, date of birth, account creation date), profile information, approximate location data, device and IP/login records, subscription/payment status (payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers), and message metadata or content subject to our data-retention practices. We can only provide data that exists and is reasonably accessible at the time of a valid request.

6. Child Safety

CupidMsg has zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation and abuse. We report suspected child sexual abuse material and related activity to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or appropriate authorities, and cooperate with resulting investigations. 7. Notice to Users

Our policy is to notify users of requests for their information before disclosure so they may seek to protect their rights, unless we are prohibited by law or court order from doing so, or where we determine in our discretion that notice would be counterproductive or would create a risk to safety (for example, in an emergency or a child-safety matter).

8. Costs and Authentication

We may seek reimbursement for costs incurred in responding to legal process as permitted by law, and we reserve the right to require authentication of any request. Serving a request does not obligate CupidMsg to respond in any particular way or timeframe beyond what applicable law requires.
